ParentsCanada serves a diverse community of parents, caregivers and families across Canada, and is committed to reflecting that diversity in our content, contributors and partnerships.​

We aim to create an inclusive, accessible space where all families—across race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, family structure, ability, age, religion, income level and geography—see themselves represented with respect and accuracy.​​

In practice, this means:

• Prioritizing a diverse range of expert and livedexperience voices in our journalism, opinion and service content.​​
• Using inclusive, personfirst language and regularly updating our editorial guidelines, at least annually, as best practices in DEI and accessibility evolve.​​
• Considering diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in our hiring, commissioning and casting decisions for content, events and campaigns.​​
• Designing our digital products with accessibility in mind, including the use of alt text, captions, readable typography and other inclusive design practices.​
• Working with partners and advertisers who share our commitment to respectful, nonharmful representation of all families.​​
