Kefir is a drink created by fermenting milk with live kefir grains. In the process, the kefir digests any bad bacteria in the milk and replaces it with good bacteria, resulting in a drink that has a similar taste to yogurt, but a thinner consistency.
In addition to kefir’s abundance of beneficial bacteria, it also contains probiotics, fights acne and aids lactose intolerance, sleep disorders, asthma and pneumonia.
It has an exceptionally positive effect on the immune system and can improve the function of the digestive system. A glass or even a single teaspoon is extremely effective and contains over 5 billion beneficial bacteria per teaspoon.
