If you love snacking on popcorn, then you're going to love this hack to make your own DIY microwave popcorn at home. Skip the overpriced and over-seasoned bags at the grocery store and just do this instead. You won't believe how easy it is!

Ingredients for DIY Microwave Popcorn

1/3 cup unpopped corn
1 tsp canola oil, or other vegetable oil
1 brown paper bag

Directions for DIY Microwave Popcorn

1. Pour unpopped corn into the brown paper bag and add oil to coat.

2. Fold the top of the bag over twice (this is enough to keep it closed as it pops). Place in the microwave and cook for 2 1/2-3 minutes, just like store-bought microwave popcorn, until the popping slows.

3. Open carefully and voila, fresh, hot popcorn with no cleanup!

Tip:
Add sea salt, everything bagel seasoning or dill pickle seasoning to really up the ante on your kernels.
