This recipe goes out to those of us who feel daunted by taxing recipe projects. To those of us who simply want to supervise a spooky baking project and enjoy the fruits of very low-key labour. Store-bought doughnuts, some frosting and gummy candies are all you need to get these spooky eyeball doughnuts started! Speaking of which, these make a great addition to a Halloween party.
Ingredients for Spooky Eyeball Doughnuts
1 package of store-bought doughnuts (we used cinnamon-sugar)
1 tub of white frosting (if your doughnuts already have white glaze, you can skip this)
12 Eyeball gummy candies (or however many you need for your doughnut pack size)
Directions for Spooky Eyeball Doughnuts
- Microwave your tub of frosting for 15 seconds to make it slightly more spreadable.
- Ice each doughnut and tuck an eyeball gummy in the middle of each.
